Air France has expanded its new business, premium economy, and economy class cabins on select long-haul flights this summer, and will now offer the new service on flights departing from Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
Air France will serve Los Angeles International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport with the new cabins up to seven times a week this summer and into the fall. Those flights will fly to and return from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport.
The airline announced that, currently, there are 16 destinations around the world that are being served by the 20 Boeing 777s equipped with the new-look cabins.
Eventually, 44 of Air France’s Boeing 777s will boast the improved features, which include fully updated seats in premium economy and standard economy class. Meanwhile, the upgraded business class cabin, which features additional space and amenities, is described by the airline as “a cocoon in the sky.”
Air France first unveiled the new cabin classes in June 2014 and reports customer satisfaction ratings have skyrocketed in the span of just over a year.
In addition to L.A. and D.C., Air France’s new long-haul cabins are available for service to and from popular North American destinations like New York, Toronto, and Vancouver.
Travelers in other busy cities like Sao Paulo, Dubai, Shanghai, and Tokyo can also experience Air France’s new and improved look.
