HOTEL SELECTION

Spend four nights at the Faena Hotel + Universe.  This magnificent boutique hotel is housed in a transformed historic grain building featuring ultra-luxurious rooms and suites. Spend one night at the La Candeleria Estancia just outside of Beunos Aires.  La Candeleria is a three-story, 10,000 square foot Romanesque stone castle designed by French architect Alberto Favre, with a crenellated tower, turrets and arches and dormers and cupolas, chock-full of French antiques, Persian rugs, Murano crystal chandeliers and Carrara marble fireplaces. A coffered ceiling looms over the billiard room Huge and pale and glowing with uncanny light - La Candelaria is a downright miracle.  La Candelaria has 21 bedrooms. In the castle itself are 10 luxurious guest rooms, while nearby, set amongst the 240 species of rare and indigenous trees of the castle’s 100-hectare park, designed by the ubiquitous French landscape architect Charles Thays, are separate guest houses. The castle has a large traditional dining room with a Murano crystal chandelier and French antique furniture, a room for games centered with pool and billiard tables, and a swimming pool; and gym.
