Etihad Airways and JetBlue finalized a codeshare agreement, subject to regulatory approvals, which will connect Etihad flights with 40 JetBlue routes in the U.S. Additional services will be rolled out when Etihad begins daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles in June.
Etihad also plans to codeshare on JetBlue flights between New York and destinations in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Colombia.
Under the agreement Etihad Airways will put its “EY” code on JetBlue-operated flights connecting through New York JFK and Washington’s Dulles International Airport (IAD). Etihad also has daily flights to Chicago and will offer flights to and from Dallas beginning in December.
For JetBlue customers, Etihad Airways offers connections through its Abu Dhabi hub to destinations in the Middle East, Africa, India, Asia and Australia.
