In June of 2011, a group of Steele Travelers will set off on a 10-day adventure through the state of Israel. We will begin our journey in Jerusalem exploring its various religions and cultures of the monotheistic capital. Our home base will be the Mamilla Hotel, Israel's first and only modern design hotel. Indulge in the rejuvenating waters at the Dead Sea. Climb to the ancient community of Masada. Rappel down a mountain in the Negev desert. Hike to the lush oasis of Ein Gedi. Investigate massive underground caves. Ride a camel through the Negev Desert. The next four days of our Israeli travel experience will take place in Tel Aviv, one of the world's most vibrant and gay friendly cities. After breakfast start the day with a tour to the Old City of Jerusalem.

- Descend to Kidron Valley and Garden of Gethsemane and then to Mount Zion
- Visit the room of the last supper and the nearby King David's Tomb
- Enter the Old City through the Zion Gate. Tour the Jewish Quarter, the Roman Cardo, The Western Wall, the Temple Mount, and the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher
