Singapore Air Starts Daily All-Business Class Service From U.S

October 2, 2008

In celebration of an increase to daily operations of its exclusive all-Business Class nonstop flights from Newark and Los Angeles, Singapore Airlines announced a $5,999 (all surcharges, taxes and fees included) promotional value on the flights. Representing a savings of up to 32 percent, this special $5,999 fare is available on a limited number of seats exclusively on Singapore Airlines’ nonstop flights departing Newark (SQ21) and Los Angeles (SQ37). The deal is restricted to departures on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, for a limited time only, based on availability. “We would like to thank our customers for their loyal support, and want to offer more opportunities for travelers with more flexible schedule to try our new product at substantial savings,” said WK Lim, regional vice president-Americas. “We are seeing an increase in business class traffic on these services compared to last year, and as such, seats for this celebratory offer are limited.”

In addition to reducing the travel time between the U.S. and Singapore by up to four hours, these 100-passenger all Business Class A345 jets feature one of the world’s newest and most spacious Business Class seats that convert to 180-degree flat beds, more than 1,000 inflight entertainment options, oversized 15-inch digital monitors with the world’s only inflight workstations, and the world’s first inflight iPod and iPhone connectivity. Travel from the U.S. is restricted to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday departures only. Fares are valid for travel between Oct. 8 and Dec. 31, 2008 and must be purchased at least seven days prior to departure. Attractive add-on fares are available to a range of destinations in Southeast Asia, India and Australia. For more information, visit www.singaporeair.com/usa.
