Steele Luxury Travel Participant
Agreement The following contract details
the agreements between STEELE TRAVEL, INC. (‘Steele Luxury Travel”) and
you with respect to your travel with us. Please read this document
carefully as the deposit and payment for your trip constitutes consent
to all conditions and provisions included.
Tour Costs and Inclusions All tour costs are
based upon the services specified in each itinerary. Hotel
accommodations, breakfast daily at your hotel, all taxes, fees, service
charges and gratuities and the services of Steele Luxury Travel are
also included in your package. Quoted package prices are based
on current rates of exchange, airfares, tariffs and taxes as of the
date of issuance of your itinerary. Steele Luxury Travel reserves the
right to increase prices to cover increased costs, airfares, tariffs
and taxes, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.
Items not Included Unless otherwise
specified, visa and passport fees and handling charges, international
departure taxes, meals other than breakfast, laundry, alcoholic
beverages, excess baggage charges, travel insurance, items of a
personal nature and items not specifically listed as included, and tips to tour guides and drivers are not
included.
Reservations, Deposits and Payments Reservations
may be made online at www.steeletravel.com or by calling 646-688-2274. A $500 per person deposit is required to
confirm services. Full payment is due no later than 90 days prior to
departure. Payments may be made by check, credit card; Visa Mastercard or via wire transfer. Payment in full is required at the
time of booking for reservations made less than 90 days prior to
departure. Below is the payment schedule:
- $500 deposit due upon reservation
- 14 days after reservation: 25% of full payment due
- 120 days prior: additional 25% of full payment due
- 90 days prior: full payment due
Cancellations
and Refunds All cancellations and refund requests must be
made in writing via e-mail to our New York office. Deposits are
refundable less a $500 per person administrative fee until 60 days
prior to your scheduled departure. Please allow up to 45 days for your
refund to be processed. A change of trip date or destination will be
treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. Refunds of
final payments will be honored as follows:
- 90 days +: $500 cancellation fee
- 60-90 days prior: 50% cancellation fee
- 30-60 days prior: 75% cancellation fee
- 30 days prior: no refund
Penalties and fees imposed by our travel industry suppliers may be
additional and, if imposed, will be deducted from the above refunds, if
any. Except for verifiable and unusual circumstances, no refunds will
be made after commencement of your travel, whether for early
termination, voluntary absence, or for any unused services. Please
allow 8 weeks for administration of refunds. All disputes and claims
regarding services shall first be resolved by way of negotiation and
mutual understanding. In the event such negotiation fails, the dispute
may be referred jointly to mediation or arbitration in New York
State. Disputes will be governed by New York law and subject to the
sole jurisdiction of courts located in New York State. Trip
cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is strongly
recommended. Please request to add insurance when making your
reservation. Passports and Visas All
travelers traveling outside of the United States must be in possession
of a passport valid for 6 months from their date of arrival in any
foreign country. It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to
secure a valid passport with sufficient blank pages for immigration and
visa stamps. Steele Luxury Travel cannot be responsible for visas
unless a specific arrangement is made. Commissions Travel agents are granted a 10% referral fee of the net base price of most packages sold via their recommendation. Referral fee is not paid on
cancelled reservations. Steele Luxury Travel reserves the right to
change referral fee levels at any time without notice. Please contact us for trip-specific travel agent commission information In order to
receive a referral fee check, Steele Luxury Travel must have a W-9 Tax
form on file for your agency. You can download the W-9 Tax form HERE.

Promotional Codes are not valid for Travel Agent reservations. If you

Limits on Steele Travel Responsibility Your trip
will be arranged by Steele Travel Inc. (“Steele Luxury Travel”) acting
only as agents for the hotels, airlines and other suppliers of
services included in your trip, their owners, employees and contractors
(“our supplier associates”). Steele Luxury Travel does not own or
operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for
your trip. Instead, it arranges lodging accommodations,
transportation, sightseeing, visa provision, ground handling and other
services from our supplier associates who are listed in your itinerary
and other materials. All such persons and entities are independent
contractors. As a result, Steele Luxury Travel cannot be liable for
any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity, their
employees or agents or of any third party. By the acceptance of
your trip, you agree to the foregoing and also agree that neither
Steele Luxury Travel nor any of its affiliates, officers, employees or
agents, shall be or become liable for any loss, injury or damage to
person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodations,
transportation or other services provided resulting directly or
indirectly from any acts of God, breakdown in machinery or equipment,
acts of government or other authorities, hostilities, civil
disturbances, strikes, thefts, pilferage, loss or damage to baggage,
epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, financial
defaults of service providers, delays or cancellations in schedules, or
from any other causes beyond the control of Steele including, without
limitation, any act of negligence or breech of contract of any
independent third party who is to or does supply goods or services for
your trip, or for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or
improperly issued passports, visas or other documents, and that neither
Steele nor any of its agents shall be or become liable for any
additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by you as a
result of any of the foregoing causes.
Payment of travel deposits and other amounts shall constitute
consent to all provisions of this Agreement as set forth herein. Privacy Statement Steele Luxury Travel may collect
personal information from you when signing up for our newsletter,
purchasing a package, sending an e-mail or calling into our offices.
Steele Luxury Travel does not share, sell, or divulge any personal
information you provide to any other company or organization. Steele
Luxury Travel may use your information to contact you with items related
to your travel or other news or information that may be of interest to
you.
