UNITED Airlines announces new route to TAHITI!

Those dreaming of a vacation to the South Pacific just got a new option to fly non-stop from the mainland United States.

United Airlines is turning to Tahiti for its latest overseas route, part of an recent international expansion at the carrier that shows no signs of letting up.

United will begin flying to the iconic South Pacific island on Oct. 30. The airline will offer three flights a week between its San Francisco hub and Papeete, the capital of the French Polynesia territory that includes Tahiti. The airline will use Boeing 787 widebody jets for the flights, which will take about 8 hours. The seasonal service is scheduled to run through March 28.
